Two employees of Ono Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Ono), arrested on suspicion of bribery on January 27, 2021, were prosecuted today by the Tsu District Public Prosecutors Office.

　Ono takes it gravely and seriously that we have caused such a situation and deeply apologize again for causing a great deal of inconvenience and concern to all stakeholders, including shareholders and all others with relations to Ono.

　In response to this situation, we have already established an investigation committee to ascertain the cause through future investigations. We will also review the internal system to prevent the recurrence and the way scholarship donation should be, and work together to restore trust as soon as possible.
